This made me laugh today, we were out with the S2, 4 up with the dog in the back... We came down a nice twisting dual carriageway, at a nice sensible speed, when we got to one of the nice twisty bits... And behold, Civic Man glues to the collie in the bootlid as I pass the last car... So...

I drift in on a left hander and allow him to floor it, as he came past, I dropped and floored the S2 in 4th... With the words, wave kiddies..!!!

The Civic remained alongside for a couple of seconds, with the kids waving at him, and the collie barking at him... Before the old girl really lifted its skirts at 5000rpm and Type R man had another look at the S2 badge....:ihih:

Hahaha love it! I was pushing along a vectra vxr on a twisty A road the other week, he was giving it all he had got... I kept having to lift off lol stuck to his bumper no problem!
He gave up after his rear visibly stepped out on a bend, no sweat with the quattro though lmao!

Its all happening for the Avants right now, I confused the hell out a guy in a Skyline yesterday off the lights! He pulled up at the next set and said "thats not fair, you have four wheel drive!" So I gave him a head start and wave on the way past again It was damp to be fair. Anyway, I stopped to let him know what it was. quite a nice guy, so going to go for it properly at the next 1/4 mile up this way

On the subject of family, the day i got my avant, went to the shops in it with my dad. Pulled off a roundabout onto a very steep hill in 2nd and floored it.

Had very similar; the nice... "Sensible estate car son", "think of the family son".... Then the stunned silence after a sliproad 'Bboooosssttt' kind of dual carriageway entry...

S2 Avant....It's sensible, it's a Kennel, a kindergarten and a performance car killer all rolled into one...

No problems with boost issues with your old avant now... in fact it's boosting more than it ever did before. Ecu is currently on route to Paul N. for some work while I enjoy the homefry v-stream on his spare Ecu.
