Ring Trip 5th - 11th September 09

Ferry is booked now from Newcastle

I am going back to the ring on the 5th September with some mates, and some guys from another forum (with an RS2 and RS4).

If anyone else is interested let me know, or if you are there and fancy taking part in the Karting session let me know also as I hope to book that in advance, prolly a couple of hours at Schumachers' outdoor track.

I would still like to find a decent camera setup as the Go-Pro's sound just doesn't cut it. Anyone any suggestions?

Get a bullit cam, well worth it. Find somewhere decent to hide it though!

I'm using a 560 line cam, which seems good enough but my recorder is shocking. I don't know much about them but i think this is the bit that matters.

I'll be driving my RS2 (blue). Friends in a Vauxhall VX220, 130i, V8 Vantage, Cayman S, Corvette Z06, ...

Dam, never saw that last post! I saw your RS2, it looked stunning. I found a picture of it on the ring too.

Does anyone know where to find photos that folk were taking at the GP circuit which we were on on the 9th...?

Yeah, it needs a paint, the bonnet lacquer is peeling and it is full of stonechips so at the moment it get very little washing done!

I am intending having it looking as nice as yours by the trip next year

I have seen these ones though, all the normal sites seem to have pictures from the north loop but not from the F1 circuit which I was driving on at 17:30 - 18:00 on the 9th. There seemed to be photographers at every corner but I can find nothing!

there's a touristenfahrer forum where you can register to ask for pictures, probably some from the F1 track too, but I don't know the exact URL.
