I think these guys were trying to make a nice juicy profit on this car so it's done the rounds on the various classifieds. Reality might finally have kicked in and they might now be willing to sell at market value.

Last time I saw it advertised though, it didn't look like it was stilts as it does now.

it is an s2....little bit different though.
it was first registered in germany but is RHD. possibilty it was bought by british services personnel knowing they'd be returning home one day.
if you look at the wings it didn't/doesn't have side indicators. it has had a few other cosmetic changes done to it but it is an s2.

WTF is all that stuff about it being a 10 year anniversary edition? The S2 was the first road going S car or have missed a whole episode of Audi history?

On WOT it slightly overboosts.... does that translate to if you floor it you get boost cut out?

this is my old car and there are 1 or 2 things in the add that simply are not true. the boost issue is the bottom hose which i know for a fact needs replacing as i taped it up.
once that is done its pushing 1.5 bar on a homefrys.
there is no cat, its a straight through system so very loud and BOOMY !
I swapped it for my s2 avant as needed a 4 door, the coupe is a good car, genuine miles, and the guy i bought it from years ago bought it himself from a guy based in germany who as mentioned was in the services.
I put the leather in which apart from wearing right through on drivers bolster is ok.
The one annoying problem on the car is the pinky paintwork. the wheels need a refurb and do have euro style streched rubber on them.
one advert states it has airbags etc.....WRONG!!!!!!!
Its actually a 93 aby car that when i bought it was a switchover from the 3b's and thus had 3b pipework.
Good car but not worth the 5k people are asking.

Been offered this as a swap for my golf v6 4motion.
Giving it serious thought, only probem is the distance would hate to go all the way down there and get messed about.
