Anyone know this car? A mate is looking at it tomorrow. Sounds like it's had a lot of money spent on it at QST but there is aparently no paperwork to back this up. Anyone know a previous owner or know what it should have to be a 380 spec. I've done some research and it seems like a replacement turbo wqith k26 14-40 badge and a full Milltek are the only obvious signs.
Any help much appreciated.

According to eGay it sold the other day for £11,100?????? Think his mates were bidding it up for him seen it was kept private? Fecking hate that about eGay. There looks to be a full box of paper work with it on the eGay add?
This is the add that was on the bay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=270417216374

Cheers for the info kids, just done a search and it seems that Charlie looked after his car. Current owner hasn't had it long and is selling as he wants something easier to drive than a 380bhp RS2 for the lady, understandable, these cars are big and fast. Hope to join in the viewing and see how we get on... anyone still in contact with Charlie? Perhaps he'd be willing to reveal the full spec of his old car

I'm the friend looking at the car tomorrow, hoping Andy can join me too to have a good nose around.
The chap is keen on a P/X with my MRC tuned B5 S4 (+ cash in his direction obviously!). I've PM'd Charlie, just in case he can give me a run down on the final spec he got out of it, as it doesn't look like much work has been done on it since (3yrs have passed now). There could potentially be a good deal to be had, although I'll certainly approach with caution given what you guys have mentioned above.
Anything major we should be looking out for other than brakes / suspension / subframe etc.?

Maybe we shouldn't bother after all LOL!! Interesting....
Looking back at some of the threads about the infamous yellow S2 and silver avant, it appears that he was/is an S2Forum member and used Dialynx a fair bit. However, on the phone this evening, the chap I spoke to (Omar Q on his advert) said he wasn't a forum member, that he thought Dialynx were very expensive and that he currently had an S2 with Doug at MRC as a project.
