Anyone here run 11s on the quarter?

Hey, looking to aim for 11s on the quarter when i finally start doing real mods to my 90Q, what sort of power figure should i be looking at?

Will a GT30/71 on a pretty stock AAN maxed out to more or less 450 do it?

Want to keep it as street'able as posable and will prob end up with a stroker engine but not straight away. (just picked up a diesel block and crank cheep.)

You need a GT35r or 600 bhp+ to do 11 secs quarters. Be advised to lose some car weight as well.

Depends if you want 11 sec or just under 12 seconds. RS2 turbo hits low 12's you may go sub 12 with a 3076 I don't know though, not up on dragging

Mine does 11.2@125mph with gt35r and normal road tyres.

It weighs 1140kg and power is estimated 500-550hp.

IMO you will struggle could do an 11 quarter with a 3076r but if you keep standard brakes put on some 15" drag radials and go on a diet it will happen.

+500hp does 10.4 with full weight RS2 and toyo proxes. Not been on dyno, though.

How much will it weigh?

I remember Tom doing 11.8s, when he had 480hp, in his Coupe. It was a 3B though, they're always faster

I think on a good run and sub 1400kg you'll maybe nip into 11s terrotory, would be close though. On that power and the Avant i was estimating low 12's but then I'm a track king, not a drag queen

like mentioned above the driver will take the car places. gotta be worth 1 sec a good driver over say me.

The bigger the turbo,the more chance you will run 11.

Im not sure a 3071 will do easily 11,but lets go and find out!

I think it is possible to get into the 11's with a 3071.
I ran 12.3 @ 184kmph 1/4 mile on a street track with 16 inch rims and road tyres.
On the day my clutch began to slip.

Previous to that drag day, i ran a 12.1 and 12.2 recorded on a Gtech.

At that time my cars engine was stock except for the turbo and exhaust manifold.
A little more hardware/Tuning and i reckon i could have been in the high 11's.

I sold the turbo cause i had a good offer therafter and didnt get to explore the limits of that setup.

what was the boost at 12.3?Do you have the 60' time too?

Without a cage you should be able to strip over 150kg out of the car for free. After that you have to spend money of GFRP / CFRP parts, perspex windows etc.

If you can handle being nearer 12 then 3076 or 3071 will see less lag. If it's an out and out racer tho then lag surely isn't a concern?
