You can apply to them about it and say to them you have the history and offer to send it on, they will charge you to do it around £30 iirc to do it.

yes it came to me in a mess on polish number plates, i spent ages getting it sorted and mot'd and finally got it uk registered in 2007.
not been taxed since huh? obviosly off the road, probably being done up for a new mot as it needs work doing to it. ive got a mint 95 avant s2 waiting to be swapped
probably still getting all of the stuff missing in the sale fitted before it can be mot'd/used.
and £30 ain't too bad considering your paying for them to search for something they don't need to. I was gonna go this route when I was looking for my coupe quattro but someone found it for me
If you do find a way to get any details, let me know. I've been trying to find a car for best part of a year now! I know from that DVLA site and ASKMID that it's taxed and MOTed and insured until recently, but past that nothing. DVLA refused to give me anything.

That gov site is cool then - my old CQ still lives somewhere then - was IDZ 6320 in NI then I moved to England in 1997 where I later sold it in July 1998 - it must have taken an English plate at that time... Light metallic blue she was with blue interior... Nicer than it sounds. Has either been SORN'd or exported it would seem.
