guys just a quick one im off to view an s6 on sunday lovely car 2 things i wana check never ever seen one with cloth interior and its got the old style heater controls u can just see them in the pic doesent bother me in anyway just making sure its normal may sound daft butt u guys no alot more than me lol

The cloth and standard heater is just because it is a lower spec example. Climate control and leather were options which to be fair most S6s will have. If you're happy without those bits then go for it, they're great cars! You could always buy a leather interior afterwards for around £3-500. Forget about retrofitting climate though!!

agree with the above, is it a saloon or avant?

If its an avant my mates breaking one with mint leather/alacantera and a 7 seat conversion.

Are the rings around the dials an s6 only option? don't remember seeing them on my s4?

thanks im not that fussed on leather to be honest love half leather and suede butt i bett thats rare and the heater controls are nice and simple

OK - what experience do you have of mechanics/ electrics etc - there is so much to ask - is that 96K on the clock? Non- A/C unit is same as mine and works adequately as long as you dont start getting holes in exhaust welds, cracks in exhaust manifold - essentially anything that can result in smoke in your engine bay will quite possibly result as coming into your cabin - not good. Go for a spin and ask him to take it where you can plant it in 3rd from low revs - this will show you any boost issues - or give you a good idea of what shape the turbo is in. Obviously give the brakes the once over - dont - like me - go and see it in the dark and fall in love with it instantly and then spend the next two years throwing money at it (happily). Many sensors and things to get old on these ****astic cars - shame you cant take a VAG-COM reader - and someone with experience - where is it BTW - you never know ;-)

yer theres 96k on the clock my mates coming with me and he is really good he will crawl all over the car lol it looks a very nice car we will soon find out its only 100 miles away from me
