Sorry S4 question again, does anybody make uprated top mounts for these cars?
They last two we bought have only lasted six months, the shocks have pushed though the top mounts again Were running H&R/Bilsteins which might explain the short life span...
Thanks, Mark

I've not yet started to drive my s4, is the car really that bad on top mounts and I presume these are different to s2 etc top mounts which is a shame as I have some of these spare.
As I said above I have not experienced any problems with top mounts running on Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks. I don't think that they are generally a big problem if you buy genuine mounts. They are completely different to the S2 mounts and are around £30 each from memory. They are also very easy to replace.
'93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.
Got a reply from Mance, he dosent make the top mounts and isnt aware of anybody else making them. He also said exactly the same thing, only use the Audi mounts as the aftermarkets dont last.
Was worth checking out, i'll order some from Audi in the morning..
Cheers,
Mark.
