Yeah you can use that, you'd have to weld in engine mounts and change the box/diff afaik but the majority of it is correct for the car. Clocks/bumpers etc would need changing. Vaudirecyclingsolutions is doing this currently to the silver one outside his work.

That is your best starting point... a few guys have looked at this - I think Carlos is most well progressed though. Everything is bolt-in except for the engine mounts already mentioned.

The 80Q is nice as it is... I have one too as a runabout... has some issues that need attendance and it would be easy to get sucked into a decent project based on one. Essentially a good handling machine.

It would be very easy to put more modern V6 engines into the 80Q - with 5V heads and such on the 2.8 format - and bin off the shiitachi MPI
