help required!!

hi guys i need some help and advice on a problem that has just re-occured and its now becoming a pain in the ****!!
what it is and bearing in mind am not technically gifted here!! what happens is when i accelerate hard ie putting my foot down to the floor board the car takes off as usual and then quite a loud bang happens and theres no power at all it never cuts out but it gives you a hell of a fright always happens when i burn off a wanna-be!! last time it happened was a split in one of the hoses going into the turbo but it cant keep happening surely?? any suggestions?? someone with knowledge has said it could be the turbo overboosting

Mine did that but as you say it had blown a hose off,the TB hose............Do you still have all the original hoses on there if so it might be time to upgrade. I also had a big leak from the cross member to the intake pipe. Contact AndyP for a boost test kit. Best money you can spend.

not sure if the hoses are original i think one of them got renewed last time it happened but i dont know how many hoses there are thanks for the advice mate appreciate it
