It'll be the badge with a hole in it.
It'll be properly finshed & chromed...
Nothing like the current badge back.

Is the keyring going to have a "back" or is it just a rear badge with a hole in?Leave a comment:

News Update;
NEWS UPDATE;
I have had a chat with the guy who WILL be making these for me and we think we have found a solution to the front mounting issue and we will be able to do "All 3 Versions"....
S2-Keyring = S2 Badge as a Keyring...... £25.00 Posted UK & Europe.
(The hole for the loop will be in the bottom corner of the "2 Bar"
S2-Front = S2 Badge with a suitable mount for the front grille - Probably a couple of bolts & nuts welded onto the back of the Badge £25.00 Posted UK - (Europe £27.50).
S2-Rear = S2 Badge £20.00 Posted UK & Europe. The user will have to use a suitable glue to attach these as they will be a solid unit (so are the others) without a recess for the cra99y sticky patch....
I dont have a delivery date yet but I would guess a couple of months.....
Anyone definatly interested email (x4mgs@hotmail.co.uk) or pm me....
I will be able to take credit cards but this would be done through my work & would cost 5% extra....(to cover thier handling fees)....
As soon as I get a sample I will post up some pictures...

Thanks Guys for the responce's
I need at least 30 "offers" to make it worth while looking at doing the tooling (30 Don't even cover the tooling for the Rear badges & Keyrings).... But I might take the punt anyway!!
Fronts I will have to look into when I get my car back!!!
But it looking promising for the Rears & Keyrings...

There is a piece of plastic that hooks over a grill slat which the badge is mounted on, and then 2 metal clips slide over that from behind to stop it being removed.Leave a comment:

I would need to see the fixings for a front one... Anyone got the specs or pictures???
I guess it can be done.... But I suspect it would need another set of tools to be made..
I will look into it....Leave a comment:

Good idea, but if you need a front badge it needs the bit to fix it to the grill. Can that be done too?
I would definitly be up for a keyring though

Badges sound good, they're NLA so a replacement part would be excellent. Not sure on copyright but I'm sure someone like Si will know.Leave a comment:

Feed Back Required S2 Rear Badge & Keyring
After reading a number of threads about members looking for new S2 badges, I had a thought
A friend of mine runs a company that makes badges and the likes... so I popped round to see him about making a replacement badge for the S2....
The problem is the tooling costs, but once that is done its pretty straight forward to make them... In fact he has suggested to me that his badges would in fact be of a better quality than the originals.... As they would be proper Enamelled badges not just painted & lacquered & that they would be made from proper solid metal and not monkey metal...
We are also looking at doing them as Keying’s with high quality fittings.......
If I can get interest in doing 100 pcs I reckon i can get the price down to about £20.00 each for the badges & £25.00 for a keyring....
We would try and keep the specs as close to the original (as in style) as we can... But for them to be of the higher quality with proper enamelling there may a little difference...
Does anyone know if this badge or logo has a copyright attached to it?
