What rating are the soldered interior light bulbs?

I need to buy a load of these for the diff lock, heated seat switch, headlight adjuster, and mirror controls. Anybody know what milliamp rating they are?

    Thanks,

    Mark

dunno the miliams, but they are from 0.8w to 1.2. if you buy the 1w bulbs you are spot on.

p.s.: the diff bulbs are smaller then the others. you better remove them and take them to the shop, slightly larger ones will not fit.

Thanks Skull but its the small soldered on bulbs that i'm looking for, i'm guessing there going to be between 30-80ma. (.03 to .08watt).

They are available in lots of different sizes from 3-5mm, all 12v. Commonly used on model railways

Found a working one and measured it with a multimeter, ~62ma @12volts. I bought a few of the 12v 65ma from Maplins that do the job perfectly.

Note some switches use red bulbs, and some use white bulbs. For example there are two different types of the heated seat switches, one uses red bulbs, other uses white.

Now theres a coincidence, I bought some BT43Ws today for this very purpose. Were you able to test the ATD with 12v on pin 5 and gnd on pin 3 out of the car?
I tried this and the lamp wouldn't light. I'm assuming the ATD needs the other signals to be present before it will work.

Havent done the ATD yet as they only had two white and two red bulbs in stock, used them all up with seat and headlight adjusters. I have another 10 on order to sort out the ATD and mirror controls.

For hot wiring bulbs i used a cheap 12v charger will two wires and held it onto the solder points. For items with clever circuitry i just used a multimeter to test the bulb and solder points to ensure its all good.

Nuvo i just installed one of these bulbs into the ATD, its almost a perfect match, if anything its a little brighter than the trip computer. Looks way better than an LED

That's partly down to the bulbs diffuse light pattern, although you can create a simple diffuser for an LED by lightly sanding the top of the lens. I don't think you would be able to obtain a better match than a convetional filament bulb.

I've soldered in a replacement bulb on my ATD myself, I still to need to fit it in the car and see it for myself.
