Lol.... You didn't take your Camera Al....

        And

Every time I walked past, there were a group of blokes stripping them down and speading the parts all over the carpark... How can I photograph a half dismantled RS2 and another with FOR SALE written all over it...? It'd look terrible...

Lovely to see you though Al ,and the other chap (Trevithick I think).... Boy that was a long old trip for you....

Return trip wasn't quite as quick (fun though). Back at 14.50 ( the run up was epic).
502 miles in a day not a beat missed and £120 of fuel ( I think ) good fun must do it again!
            Cheers

Yep as usual forgot it 2 mins popping Marks new rear reflector panel on for him following his epic trek was no problem. I overheard someone on their mobile saying they thought you rep was the Pikes peak car. Good to meet up with Richard (Dicky C) Mark (Trevithick) and Ian and his buddy Bry

David, many thanks.... I'm lucky I live less than 20 miles from Goodwood, so the hardest bit is getting out of bed by 6.45... On a Sunday.... Just glad you good folk enjoy the pictures... But they still don't do the events justice really... We tend to get a bit flippant with the 'choice' of cars...

Oh FFS... There's about 0.003% similarity on component exchange.... And the '81 RAC livery might have given the game away.... As you say, nice to meet up, the breakfast clubs are lovely events... Pretty laid back and even at their worst, some stunning cars.

Don't suppose you were still there when I left Al..?... I wound the RRep up on exiting the circuit for the first time, let all 107db+ out to 6750rpm... bad news for my ears in first and second, let alone those at roadside .... If you were there when I left.... You'd have heard it go....

I know Ian i over heard some real corkers today... including a rather posh lady announcing in a over loud voice "well we are so busy, in and out of the country so much lately that its lovely when my husband gets it out and shows it off" plenty of people were chuckling away... sounded like he was some kind of flasher she was talking about a rather nice old Fezza. Best of the day was "i owned this very car back in the seventies" to which the owner piped up "sorry but you didnt... this was my late fathers car and he bought it new and i inherited it a few years ago" the billy b/s chap just walked off red faced with his mate
