Just a quick heads up... I found I was able to find some OEM items from ECP on-line store for cheaper than stealer and TPS even with some discount. Their website has been much improved since I last paid a visit and they still stock a lot of factory quality parts from ATE, Valeo, Bosch, Sachs, Bilstein etc etc
Their ATE brake prices are much better than TPS at the moment - but not everything was in stock so I couldn't get everything in one stop. However - I was impressed.
Most notable success was front ARB drop links - listed as 8A0 407 465 for B3 and B4 applications - these are normally the plastic ones (which I always think feel flimsy but they are perfectly fine). Sticker price on those from TPS is just under £32 each plus new nylocs and VAT of course.
ECP have an equivalent part (605 44 0090) that I thought was worth a punt at £18 each. These are stated on the invoice as 'plastic type'... They arrived today complete with nylocs and more importantly are the heavy metal variety that is listed only against the RS2 (8A0 407 465C which I think are more expensive again).
Just posting this up for anyone looking to get new droplinks soon - as this anomolie might not last forever.
ECP have a deal on at the minute that all orders above £50 get free mainland postage.
They quoted me a very reasonable 18 quid next day shipping to NI for what turned out to be three boxes including heavy brake discs so they look like a reasonable option for OEM quality bits and the convenience of online shopping.
