S2 looks better than RS2

S2 front bumper on an RS2 - has it ever been done?

Every other detail is lovely except the front bumper IMHO - but its all subjective anyway

Im not just saying this because ive got RS2s (ive had an S2 previously btw) but if the money side of things wasnt an issue and an S2 was sitting beside an RS2 at the same price id be incredibly suprised if anyone would hand on heart not choose the RS2

this is a debate purely on looks though, not spec & performace also - i'd be surprised if anyone chose an S2 over and RS2 for the same price, they'd be a fool!

Owned an S2 coupe 3b in pearl colour.....
Liked the car at the time that's for sure..... but when I see one of them in that colour today i believe the pearl it's really suitable for hiphop singers.....

RS2 it's probably a Frankestein madeup by Porsche and Audi together by mixing up things try to achieve a Porschey look in an Audi......
The result it's good if you love the car and no matter of lines or proportions or elegance....
When you park an RS2 aside a 993 turbo and you look at the front you understand where and what they where aimed to...
The back of the car it's very nice I reckon, and the bumper covers tow hook and the spare wheel compartement at list (avants talking...).

The heritage of the RS2 it's not even to be matched between her and S2 coupè or avant, I would'nt change anyway my RS2 to a S2 limo even if it's been built in 300 pieces.

On stock cars:RS2 looks the business and does the business!
S2 avant it's meant to be the first example of understatement........and it does the job I believe

Two things i love about coupe S2s and that i still miss:
Backlights....... the two big red squares make recognize the car from distance..... beautyful!
the "quattro" logo encrypted on the rear screen defroster........ very subtle...... very elegant......

Just to point out, that as not a lot of people seem to like the RS2 Bumper, I doubt it would hang about long if there was one for sale for £100
