Just had the yearly insurance quote from ‘Adrian Flux’ and I was wondering if anybody has got competitive quotes from anywhere else for their modified car? (Limited mileage and fully comp.)

Mine's due in a few weeks so will be trying all the companies possible. Admiral have been the cheapest for me for 3yrs in a row now on my cars, but not always straight away as their rates seem to vary greatly from their phone line, web page and through compare sites.
Also, make sure your job title is the best possible one for you. You can save a good wedge with that area. For example a sales manager will pay a lot more than a sales assistant. Check the price with an older, more experienced family member as an additional driver, parents are always good regardless of your age. They may never use it, but it saved me £80 adding my Mum and she only moves it off the drive, and they often get their own no claims with that company then which could come in handy for future project cars
