In his last statement, Alonso appeared to be denying any involvement/knowledge, so there's currently no reason for him to do anything except what he wants.
Shocked, exhausted, hosed, bushed, dumped, chipped, mounted, filtered, gauged, packed, intermittantly wiped and braked. I mean broken. Now, about the car...
makes a total mockery of the paying spectator and further tars F1 in scandal. Have to say have very little time for it these days...Piquet Jr should also get a spine, reading the statement he looked pathetic suggesting he was only doing it because his contract renewal was in jeopardy, even though he states there were no guarantees it would be renewed if he complied with Flav and Pat on completing the crash. Lucky for everyone he didn't get collected by a driver behind or a wheel let go and vault a fence into the crowd IMO!
Flav was always a right slippery *******, but how stupid of Piquet (a slimy shadow of his dodgy (but faster) father)... How on earth would they have felt if someone got hurt in that crash ? Oh yeah I know - they wouldn't give a flying ferk cos they think they are untouchable and need answer to nobody. Hahah well justice be served then... Toyota got kicked out of WRC for cheating, and now Renault is next so its no great loss. Cheating *******s.
is it my or is virtually all motorsports now days boring?
Most, yes. BTCC remains interesting, as does WRC. The common bit between them is that it's flag-to-flag (either number of laps or stage start to stage end), with much less messing around with "strategy", pit stops and that kind of thing. On two wheels, MotoGP, for the same reasons (plus Suzi P is easy on the eyes).

I don't know if the no-refueling rule next year also limits the maximum fuel capacity, but I guess we'll see if it stops the strategic racing that I personally don't see as part of F1 ....I'm not a fan of dog slow BTCC although the coming rule changes will bring them closer to the cars that ran in the super touring days which might improve things.
As for no BS racing, I'm off to see F1 stock cars on Saturday ....not much room for primadonnas in there!

F1 stock cars - proper sport there alright. I still think that when rallycross was televised in its hey day (when I were a lad) - that was as good as motorsport got. Could be rose-tinted joe ninety spectacles.

couldn't agree more, those Rallycross 6R4's and RS200's were stunningly quick - I used to watch them at the Anglesey track, some 15-20 years ago - Jeez, how time flies...
