i have one at home but i dont know nothing about that turbo.

i dont know much about one of these. i thought it was just an aby with some extras? maybe i should read the posts prior as i expect its been covered.

should see you at the rr on sunday then. im not running as i aint had time to fit the fuel pump or pumps. cant see the point in me aborting a run at 6k or so. was gonna do it tonight buy im of to see orbital.

Does anybody know what sort of boost pressure the MTM 350 setup should be running? Also, is it set up around a stock wastegate spring?

i supposedly ran an mtm chip prior to getting the engine rebuild i was seing 1.7bar droping to 1.3

@RS200 the turbo cold side is numbered KKK 5326-101-5160 ,RS2 i beleive.
Had a good shake down tonight and the power comes in higher up but with much more thrust for longer ,first kill 330ci any way it holds it longer but we had one overboost cut out going up hill wot in 5th under a lot of load ,cleared the ecu then it was ok we was wondering if my pre tentioned wg\spring may have something to do with it
Am realy pleased with it so far and more to come with injectors and f\pump maybe .
it sounds mental but i was told my back box design may be a restriction backing up pressure oh the costs do get out of hand but who cares.!!

yes, if the spring is stiffer, then it may exceed max.boost and cut out. i had this myself when i tried changig spings around on the original motronic

Im getting about 20psi dropping to 18 does this sound about right last night it shot up to 24\25psi momenteraly i,did find a slightly loose jubilee so this may have caused the boost cut ,and it is running a sronger spring should this be preloaded

well i must be close now to the 350 bhp i should have got when i bought the MTM
package
Ive fitted RS2 injectors
044 fuel pump
JETEX 2.75 bore back box
full ROUSE boost hose kit
new n75 valve
and finally an mtm RS2 340hp ecu with 3 bar map sensor .
The only other thing to do is a custom map but im realy happy with how it goes now
so much sronger from 4k and boost is 25psi at wot ,will get it back on the RR in leeds
to do a comparison test and check the AFR hopefully bring it down to 11s from 13 .
So now its a full RS2 spec with RS2 hybrid turbo .Good times
Total spend is approx £3300 but still got about £800 in parts to sell
