    Porsche Panamera

Got invited to the unavailing this evening and its actually quite nice in the flesh. I thought it was butt ugly in any pics i have seen so i was pleasantly surprised. Has nice big brakes on it, couldnt help but wonder how long it will take before somebody bolts them to an S2

I know what you mean, when it was on topgear if looked ugly as sin. Wheni saw one on the road in a dark blue with the big yellow calipers it looked awesome. I've seen about 4 on the road now and they get better every time i see them.
Just some finishing touches to do now

Saw one parked up at the Nurburgring at the end of August. I actually really liked it. Yeah it's big, but it does look awesome.

I forgot to mention the best bit, i know it sounds a bit sad but the back seats have the best seating position i have ever seen. There basically two bucket seats so it feels like your sitting in the front, amazing.

The worst bit was the fact it has the PDK flappy paddle less gearbox. Interestingly the bottons on the wheel are slightly different on the 911, Panamera, and Cayenne. But there all crap IMO, i mean who wants to fiddle with micro switch buttons on a steering wheel to change gear. Give me a proper gearbox any day...

One of the mechanics was telling us they received the workshop tools for it a few weeks back, ~20k worth of special Porsche tools We get by with a crank locking tool and a vagcom cable from ebay, god help anyone who buys one of these in 15-20 years time.

Blah, the 6l V8 tt version only makes 500hp. Hardly something to write home about.. Will be interesting to see what Ruf or 9ff make of it after a few tweaks..
