Is this oil any good??

Can i use castrol 0-30 in my S2?? can´t remember if i´s edge or magnatec though...

That'll be too thin imho. I'd use a 5W-40 as a miniumum (if it's uber cold).

so 10-40 would to be prefered?? Don´t drive it in the winter anyway.. but i still want good protection. any other tips??

i dont run very often on a daily basis now so have been using halfords motorsport/trackday oil.

seems ok so far but my mates older urs4 when he had it found it a fraction thin on startup.

Yeah, a quality 10W-40 or 10W-50 fully synthetic is ideal. With new oil and a filter every 5k, or yearly, and you can't go far wrong. (Though I do mine at 3k/6 mths as I'm like that!)

I dont drive mine either on a daily basis, we havn´t got halfords over here.

ypu want a XXw50 for daily use, XXw60 for track use. go for a 5 for cold weather, 10 or 15 for hotter. I use Mobil1 15W50 and have used 10W60 in the past. MRC use 10W60
