What spec is it - Leather - Air Con etc
Any pics would help! -
Its a difficalt one, id say stick it up at £4k the problem is they have been selling cheap recently and many have been broken, which has made the remaining ones even more rare, you shouldnt under estimate its value, but then if its to high no ones going to buy it, just my 2p worth.....

Hate to say this but if it is box standard you are trying to sell it against cars like Dest's and he's only asking £4.5K with mods and fully loaded interior!!!!Its a difficalt one, id say stick it up at £4k the problem is they have been selling cheap recently and many have been broken, which has made the remaining ones even more rare, you shouldnt under estimate its value, but then if its to high no ones going to buy it, just my 2p worth.....
There are also others on here TRYING to sell 'em at that money too....

Theres a lot of people who like the stock, un-molested example and are prepared to pay for it, unfortunately it is a buyers market out there, keep it if you can untill the market recovers

Thats right - its *our* fault the cars arn't worth as much as some people on here would incorrectly like to think they are.
Quite simply if people didnt sell them for what they did, they wouldnt sell.S2Forum.com AdministratorComment

I tend to agree - but if peeps are "Desperate" to sell then that must be an major factor in the low prices being taken for them....
The other thing that does not help prices is how much it costs to keep one of these cars running, Price of parts & lack of some parts...
Hence why peeps are breaking them and selling the bits....
I am sure in the longer term prices will pick back up... But when is another issue!

Not another one of these "it's not fair that our cars aren't worth more than they currently are" thread? Supply and demand chaps, simple as that!
Plenty of supply at them moment due to people not NEEDING an "enthusiast's" car in times of economic uncertainty. Demand affected by the same reason plus competition from newer cars which have also come down in price and don't cost as much to own vs an S2. There's also the relatively high cost of fuel and these are very thirsty cars.
I can't see prices rising in the next 5-10 years. They'll go back up when there are only a few hundred S2s left and they've become genuinely rare - i.e. many, many more people that want to own one than RHD models on the road.

Well said Tom.... I am glad they all keep getting broken and stripped for parts... Each one that is destroyed to keep others running makes all our nice one's worth a £1 or £2 more. Not another one of these "it's not fair that our cars aren't worth more than they currently are" thread?
