hi guys i was wondering if you could help me. i curently drive a nova gsi but i want an upgrade, most likely an s2 but i would like to know how much i should be looking at paying for a good cond one and what are common faults and things to look out for.
quite a change there, lightweight tin-can hatch to autobahn cruiser... you'll soon realise you've gone from 800kg to 1600+kg
Looking at about £4-6k for an ABY coupe, £3-5k for an ABY avant, £2-4k for a 3B coupe, depending on condition and sensible mods. Monster modified cars, low mileage cars or something a bit special (MTM/Nothelle) will be more, post up what you find and you'll ge an honest opinion on it for sure

Good man
See if you can get hold of some locals near you, that might be a big help.
a nova eh. not bad in their day. a mate still has a nova sport. the 1.3 with twin 40's. pretty rare and up to 102hp.
chalk and cheese nova and s2l
both avant and coupe have their merits. do you want to be the one carrying all the crap when you go to a car event. if so get the avant.
