a big dog and putting electricity to the doors is about as good as it gets.

ive known of people to have had cars stolen and presumed for the alarm systems on them.

for what its worth i got an old toad alarm on mine with a seperate imobiliser.

never had an issue with toad. alwasy thought you were paying fore the name with clifford. also always thought that higher quality thiefs attacked higher quality cars so knew the exact wiring and placing of cliffords.

        a fair few presumptions there.

I'd rather have one than not though, and it can be required for insurance purposes.

im messing. you need one. what use it is in the event of a good scally im not sure.

now electricity(maybe not legal but neither is nicking cars) or unplugged cam sensor requires more thought from the theif.

a good device and cheaper than the clifford is the gt anti hijack. if the door is opened a hidden button must be pressed otherwise after a minute the car will start to cut the fuel pump slowly at first then more often gradually bringin gthe car to a stop.

Check with your insurers, Toad Ai606 was not good enough on a modified S2 for them hence I had to go for a different Cat 1

Personally I wish I could install this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDrzMGdYWZc

Really check with your insurers if they are happy with the toad that is the alarm I would recommend. I had it on my old Coupe and its totally hassle free

Oddly enough I just had a chat with Adrian Flux about this. They seem to like the Autowatch 161RL which is fitted to my car.
