For those not going the HID route, I recently bought some Osram Nightbrakers from http://www.svetila.com/en/ for cheap. Delivery took some time as they didn't have them in stock. The light was a lot better as the standard RS2 bulbs I had (some el cheapo Philips).

Later on I'll be doing the volt mod a lot of (german) Audi 100 drivers do: http://www.audi100-online.de/Technik...chtupdate.html

the Osram Nightbreakers are very good!

had them in my 90 type 81, and it was a massive improvement.

I've installed relays and fat gauge wiring. In addition, I have bumped the output of the voltage regulator to approx 15.3v.
The result is 15v at the bulbs. Light output massively improved with crisp, white HID like output.
Using standard bulbs since Nightbreakers and the like only last for a few days at such high voltage.

I used relays on my 90 quattro, but didn't install new wiring and didn't have an improvement.

          15V is very much btw.

Sorted the strobe issue now :http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthr...obe+HID&page=5

Might try a new set of HIDs see if they work better than the crap i've got now.

I have used the BlueVision and the VisionPlus and for me is better the BV.
But I prove the CristalVision and they are AWESOME.

PS: Osram NightBreaker are too yellows but the "intense light" is bigger.
