Where is the best place to get an impulse sender (G28) for an A3 at short notice..

Typical sold the old girl and the G28 packs up before its collected....

I had to get one of these recently for our S3. It wasn't too expensive from my local stealer IIRC.

I wish it was the A3 G28 that failed instead, that's easy to get at.
It was as PITA to replace on the S3, damn hoover pipes, IC pipe, oil-water cooler and all sorts in the way. I ended up taking the front off of the car to get at it.
There was me thinking it would be a five minute job. I'd rather work on the S2 any day.

I got one from GSF £35 load of rubbish, no sealing ring nor a grove to fit one, wrong size hole for the bolt to pass through and worse still it dont work.....

Vag Com and no signal!!

Put the old one back in it works but intermittent fault and dash light comes on...

Can see me having to get one from the steelers...
