well, seems prices are going to the roof

some S2 coupe, not even ABY, asking prices for 20 000 €

even the not so researched Avant going strong above 10 000 €

don ' t even think about the RS2, some good example are going for 50 000€ in germany

seems our crazy passion is also some sort of investement,

happy i kept everything in the garage, and it s going oldtimer this year for the coupe , taxes and insurance for nearly nothing and with the price of gasoline so low, what could we ask more for ?

Yeah Gery S2 prices are going up nicely in the UK I said about 12-18 months ago I think that I wouldn't sell mine if someone offered 10k for it I definitely wouldn't sell now decent ones fetching 10k amazing condition ones like that red S2 Coupe at £14500. RS2's are going through the roof and about time 180 RHD in the UK in 1994-95 these should be worth a min 30k how many left these days 100 if your lucky?

Hi, now i m on the hunt for a(nother) decent S2, if u got any info for a LHD with sunroof, well, let me know, 3B or ABY... ( but preferably up to 1993 so oldtimer quickly)

i usualy look in autoscout24 and mobile.de, any other site relevant ?

i found one without sunroof and green ( with green interior ) asking price 11,000 €

Interesting, there was an S2 avant up at around £5500 on ebay UK as a buy it now, been there a few weeks, suddenly been moved to auction so be interesting to see what happens now as my guess is that the seller (its a dealer) thinks it will go for more.

I currently have a 93 audi 80 2.6 avant quattro in about the same condition as the S2 avant (paint is slightly more crazed and interior is quattro script black cloth not leather) but body including underside and front wings are very good (as in little or no rust), its done nearly 200k miles and is used daily. Was thinking of selling but whats it worth maybe £800 probably better to leave it parked a couple of years, may go up in value ?

i think the coupe ( except for the RS2) wil be the real winner, i sold a 2.8 Quattro coupe for 1000 € a few years ago, impossible to find one bellow 4-5000 € now...

even the 2.3 20V are beginning to be quite expensive too...wish i had a barn farm to put all i wished, the garage is full

It might go up a bit but not the rate of the S2 or I5 cars imho. If it was a minter with low miles then maybe. Plus in the time it sits around thats when things break and stop working. Cars benefit greatly by being used.

Well, I think at £100 a year insurance I'll just hang onto it a bit longer, its not costing me much and many parts are interchangable with the S2 avant and coupes.
