why is a LHD better in uk ?? quite difficult to overtake when ur alone no ?

to me its just nice to be different. i miss it. most of the world is LHD, and theres only a few countries RHD, why dont we all just go LHD?
LHD has only a few downsides......mainly the Mcdonalds drive thru !!
