Who is best to talk to for advice - working through some stuff before I get serious??

Ok so i am starting to work through a few options and will be working on a "project" over the coming well I suppose years. (don't ask I wont tell :mischeif: )

I am interested in understanding the true differences and capabilities of the ABY S2 lump vs the RS2 Lump. how to get more useable BHP/Nm out of which and what mods are needed - more for one vs the other etc etc. Are parts interchangeable and the real capabilities of the gearbox, diffs, crank, rods etc etc.
Not just that but the geometry capabilities for modification and understanding more about the availabilitiy of suspension set ups etc.

I have read a fair few threads and have a feel. But need to make a decision on what best suits as the car will have to be used prior to enough money being saved and work comencing..

So who (which individual) could you recomend would be good for me to talk to about my needs. I would like to do it face to face so I can make notes and keep it a secret until the time (hopefully) comes to show off .

I dont mind if it is a company.

    Thanks Folks..

The only difference between a complete RS2 and ABY lump that are significant are the following:

    Exhaust manifold
    Camshafts
    Turbo
    Water Pump

Tuning wise if your going for your own manifold and turbo selection there is no logical reason to pay a premium for the RS2 lump if your not going to use it's specific parts

If you are after the most BHP per £ then just but an s2 not an rs2.
for the cost of an rs2 you can buy and modify an s2 to well beyond the rs2 power and also have better brakes suspension etc. etc.
many people on here will confirm this.

Jamo is spot on. You are very lucky now compared to a few years back. There are so many off the shelf products avalible now to susport higher out put from these engines.
