Anyone on here know this S6??????

A good friend of mine has spotted this for sale and asked my opinion on it, he's not very mechanically minded so I'd want to be sure as I can it's as described before taking the time to go and look at it. It would be his first S car and first proper Audi (he has an A2) so I don't want him to have a bad experience as we all know poor examples of these cars can rapidly turn into money pits. My first impression from the ad is good and I suspect the owner maybe a member.

Hi - i don't know the car, but it was on sale a couple of months ago. Having read the ad, I would want to give it a very thorough mechanical check over because there's a good chance there's something wrong with it, which is why it's being sold on again so quickly. That's just my personal opinion. The seller writes:

"Some of the keener 'S' followers will recognise this car, it was on Ebay only a couple of months ago, which is where I bought it from. I was going to carry my work clobber in it and did so on a few occasions, but I found myself whincing every time something touched the leather. As a previous owner of a cherished S2 Coupe, knowing how special and rare these cars are, it would be CRIMINAL to use it as a work hack! Compared to my S2, upon which I lavished lots of money, this car drives 'SPOT ON!'"

thanks for the input, I was kinda curious as to why he wants to sell it on within months of buying it. I would never recommend a car to anyone with out having a good look over it first. I wonder if the owner is on here?
