Anyone willing to give me a passenger ride?

I am well en route to the circa 450Bhp conversion of my Ur quattro.

However, as you would expect the costs are mounting every day!

I have never been in a high powered 20V car, and wondered if anyone local ish would be hapy just to drive me up the road and back to see what the delivery power is like.

Basically I need some re-assurnance that what I'm doing is not totally crazy! I really should be paying off some of my mortgage, but that would be boring.

I'm worrying, will it stop, will it handle, will it be too much power even with upgraded brakes and suspension (can there be such a thing?)

The absolute ideal would be a ride in a converted quattro but and S2 would at least give me an idea of what a 20V is capable of.

Any help would be most appreciated. I'm Essex based but am willing to travel within reason.
    Angus

Jump on the ferry and test my alky powered 20vT chariot. Moves pretty swiftly in freezing temps these days

Why bother to take the ferrie when ryanair "gives away" tickets almost for free

I am flying from Oslo (torp) to Birmingham in januar for the enormous cost of 29 GBP. (Total for both ways)

Personally I would prefer to crawl on my hands and knees to Birmingham than get on said airline.

also there is no ferry now which is bad. i want to take my car to norway next year. i want to camp at the summer gatebil with a boot full of beer.

no ferries that im aware of now.

i flew from brum to torp return when i went to rudskogen. free flights plus tax. all in 50 quid each.wish they wouldn't call it oslo too. its confusing first time when i presumed we were north of oslo not south. that midnight drive was interesting to say the least

Not exactly Oslo no, but isnt that how Ryanair always works?
(PS there goes a ferrie from Horten to Moss to save a few hours drive from Torp to Rudskogen if you are going to repeate the trip)
Oslo (Rygge), Düsseldorf (Weeze) and Frankfurt (Hahn) are not exactly central aiports either
Leasons learnt, always check where the airport actually is.

                SORRY for the OT

There are a number of forum members going, I'll see how many pictures of alloys and hot women I can get this year

Back on track I would say approach DJones about a ride in his UR which is 450 bhp and mental by all accounts.

There is also S2martyn who has one with a GT35r
