I have seen a few vids of that car, and I think it should do a LLOTT better trap speed on quarter if it had that kind of power. Compare our 230km/h pulls with 1360kg car and 980hp... That car must weigh like 1000kg tops, most likely significantly less.

Can someone pls verify if they really did the dyno test backwards, like letting the engine to rev without brake to redline and then took it down with brake? You definately get high power that way.
Everything less than 2 bar is considered to be naturally aspirated

i rememebr seeing a 4 pot 16v in the states at about that hp on an engine dyno with the block split in 2 just below the intermediate shaft.

its very unlikely with syncro too. id expect syncro to fail about 400hp. maybe less

This is not synchro gearbox...it is O2M gearbox with Haldex. They are good for 600 bhp on R32's. This car is much lighter than R32 so maybe it can hold that power.

yeah: thought the biggest garret gt 4094 one gives about 650ponnies, and the tranny doesn't last for the power....or

Well look at this video, the car is fast!

              http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOrlc...eature=related

9,87 sec. 257km/h and he did screw up the start....that's insane.

In the last video the car is running a 3.0 l VR-24V.
Car is scary fast and totally unsafe. It seems in Germany nobody really cares about rules or safety. He is allways allowed to drive.

With the VR it did 9.1s this fall at the track in Luckau. Can't remember the speed.

                  It is quite impressive.

Last time I looked there were only Golf brakes on the front. No brakes on the rear.

                  Regards.
