    Aero Wipers

I bought my first set of "Aero Wipers Kit" from a respected Audi parts supplier. Then one day while visiting the local junkyard/breakers/auto parts recyclers I found the exact same set on a 2002 VW Passat (USA). A set of wiper blades from the dealership & I had another set for the other Coupe

yes thats all you really need to do. however the passenger side is a bit long for using on a coupe if i remember right. that is if you use all B5 passat arms and aero blades. i think maybe lupo ones fit better. they will work fine so don't think I'm saying they won't but you will have to stop your arms mid windshield if you ever want to lift and change for new blades as the arm pre-joint is shorter than factory B3/B4 cars.

Nice job Joe, finally saw the completed pictures on here. Is inspiring me to get back to work on my Coupe soon. Did you use Cabriolet door cards in there? Interior looks great a all tricked out with the nice bits like dual air bags, later CC, pop-out windows, and sport wheel.

            Thanks Bob.

Yes, those are cabriolet door cards. I had to cut the striker pin off of the cabrio jamb plate. You also need door shells from a late cq or cabriolet.

Interesting, I remember seeing cards at the junkyard once and noticing the different pin on the jamb plate. Did you just take the inner shell and apply it to your coupe door or just use the entire door?

My car was in an accident prior to my ownership. The passenger door and fender were replaced with Cabriolet new parts. The window regulator is also proper for fitment in the shell. I now need a drivers side cabrio door shell to enable me to fit those funky jamb plates. And a Cabrio window regulator frame.
