Question-
If you've got 800*C coming out of a 4cyl Honda 600CBR engine at the exhaust headers, what would be the approximate temperature of the air entering the silencer box.
The silencer box is 1.2meters (centre line distance) from the headers and is 40mm in diameter. Material is stainless steel.
Trying to work out resonances and need Temp & Pressure, which alters the speed of sound!
Any help/suggestions on how to go about calculating would be very much appreciated....
