My thoughts are, who cares what they say about a particular car, that is THEIR view, not ours!

half the fun of old cars is that their power delivery is not silent and linear. An Rs2 without lag would be wrong..every roadtest i ever read mentioned the explosion of power once you hit 3k rpm.

Knowing how to make the most of a laggy car does take a bit of skill and its massively more mechanical and i think rewarding to drive than modern stuff.

Always makes me smile when a current WRC driver hops out of a Grp B car and says wow thats amazing how did they ever drive them as fast as they did and for as long too. All to easy and cosseting these days IMO
