at the london road filling station ready for its m6 journey north then

She made it up to thurso gracefully ( mostly sideways ) found the idling problem chris a small hose at the throttle body was split ( much better on fuel ) found problem with leak into car ( fusebox cover was off ) dried it out had a hose on the car for half an hour and no more leak also electric window gremlins were to do with this leak.
she is all good now.

She is getting a strip down and rebuild possibly in ibis white, looking for new wings and rubber door trims, p.s cant find the turbo timer chris

Not sure where turbo timer located but its def there, working and is operated by pressing the ** button on fob. Runs for around half minute after removing key/locking up etc. I'll forward you the rest of the dash conversion and few bits in the post. Cheers Chris

Sounds same as mine, it's built into the alarm control unit if it's fob activated.

avant going better now as i found the split pipe to the rear diff lock so sorted that and snipped the blue/white wire to celebrate

cant remeber what alarm you said you had, but if its a clifford G5 same as mine you double click the G5 logo then click the ** logo once and you should be able to remove the key. Mine shuts the engine down once you lock the car and this enables the pre-start mode as well if its been added, a single click of the * and the car starts up but remains locked and alarmed

I gather from this heart felt thread that when you situation changes an S2 Coupe is on the shopping list??

Would hate to see my S2 go...

Know how you feel thoo... I had the same situation when my RS6 Avant went!! But at least I still had my S2...
