Hi guys,

Tis time to wave goddbuy to the avant after some recent news (I AM GOING TO BE A DADDY), so in need of a good estate as I don't want to downsize. If anyone knows of anyone after a good avant that has been well looked after that comes with quite a few spare parts too put them in touch.

I will put an official FS on here when I have had it cleaned and valeted, just come back from the garage after having it looked over, prodded, pushed etc to make sure all is sound before I pass it on.

ost of running good sir, doing 50 miles a day is costing me a bomb and running two cars that distance (both of us work in the same place but work different shifts - her 9-5 me 6-2 or 2-10) is not a good option. If I had the money to buy just a decent diesel run about and insure etc etc etc then I would but tis not the best option. If I could moth ball the avant somewhere for a few years too I would but I feel it sould be out on the road roaming about without a care under its bonnet

Just fuel price really, will do the job as it has proved the past few weeks in this weather. But costing £65 a week to get to work is a bit excessive for when sprog comes along. getting a deigal would halve that if not more...

Yeah, it'll halve it, just have to watch the depreciation trap as that can easily write off any fuel economy benefits...
