As the owner of a Pearlescent coupe and a White S2,i'd go for a Pearl job any day.
Problem being getting someone skilled enough to carry out such a job IMHO.
I've asked a few local bodyshops to look at my pearl coupe ie Kinghorn,none interested as maybe too much hassle.
Often up in Thurso,so hope to see a nice S2 next time i visit.

That has to be the one beside Mikes chipper... I can put you in touch with a body shop who do classics up our neck of the woods.

As i was saying if anybody is needing a bodyshop you will not go wrong with my bro's business he is doing a full resto on Normans Pearl white Ur Quattro (he is a member here but use classic audi forum more) his car is going on display in Striling Audi we use the same grade steel if needed and give a anti corrosion warranty no job is too big

That's correct,i live no far from thon chipper.
Interested in a decent local bodyshop, but just aint found one that i really trust.
Looking for work done on both motors,not full resprays but usual places ie front/rear bumpers and door trims.
Appreciate any info regarding good sprayers.

Hey mate, i used to live in kingswells a few years ago there is a bodyshop in between kingswells and westhill ( if it still exists ) called king street autobody he did some amazing work on my old dare i say it xr4x4, which im told now sits at the back of mikes chippy at the mitubishi garage!!
there was a little industrial estate just off the dual carrigeway mate maybe worth a look
