We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Spose it could be used for spare valves etc if someones timing belt has taken a dump or something.
I have a bare head with no cam caps someone mugged me off with on ebay a few years ago, If anybody wants it for practicing on they can have it for postage.
The question is why ??? This just makes no sense , did he through them away when he removed the cams ? Or did he sell them with the cams ? this of course makes no sense as every head is assembled with it's caps and line bored so the caps can't be used with another head .
The seller obviously has no understanding of this and thus should never work on engines.
Maybe the poor guy found the head in a skip and thought he would make a few quid
If anyone buys it, i can't help but think they should'nt be near engines either
I hear what you are saying... but.... it looks like a fair description of what is being sold to me...
Yes, but there are people on here who have slightly less mechanical knowledge than others, and as said above, shouldn't be around engines, or have just upgraded to an audi cos the've crashed their saxo or corsa!!!
Well, if you crack your head you can buy this one and use your old cam caps. You do however need to have it line honed and prepped at a machine shop specialist. Completely doable.

Agreed...but how much does this cost in Norway?
As well as being a very specialist job.
