    Coupe 2.6V6

    Hey all

Found this baby ....shes been well looked after, really nice, i know its not a CQ or an S2 but still ive got a soft spot for the 2.6.

Anyone got any comments on teh V6? Mostly ive heard they are nice, i drove one before and loved it. Might be a bit high on fuel tho.

    anyhoo heres some piccies

Its a LHD, 2.6E, 220000 KM, one owner from new, TUV, AU new, new brakes, original condition and they are asking 3400 euros for her. I think it s a bit high.....might go in with an offer of 2700 and try me luck.

    Enjoy

I've driven a couple, nice and torquey, not earth shatteringly fast but quick enough. Price seems a bit rich, but then the euro market is different to the UK's. You could get a fairly respectable S2 for that money over here.
        1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.
        1992 C4 2.8 Avant quattro
        1994 MTM RS2.
        1998 B5 TDI quattro Sport.

yes its a pain in the neck. S2 prices are 6k-10k for a good one. even the coupe 2.3 are still fetching high prices.

but i want LHD. If i could find an S2 LHD in the uk that would be perfect.

well i had 2.6 CQ. and dont know what to say. you can feel those 240nm of torque, but it aint much. when you drive s2 with 1 bar boost, you feel that it goes, and when you push the pedal of 2.6 - its just average .. anyway,i wouldnt buy Coupe if it is not quattro. having the car you will invest money into it,and when you will want more power, you will have to sell this coupe ,and will have to look for quattro one to some engine swaps and something. when you buy CQ, you know that if you need power - just change the engine, not the car..

V6 is just fine for cruising and long distances. Nothing like as rapid as the s2 of course but a nice engine if well maintained. Bloomin expensive if not ! They aren't great on fuel which is a shame.

I have the 2.8 cq, looks exactly the same as that one actually, but mine was £565!

Anyway, in the short time I've owned it I have established it's not too bad on fuel, it sounds lovely, but it's a damn sluggish engine!
