ABY 6 Speed gearbox weight ? + posting abroad

Does anyone happen to know the weight for one as I haven't removed it yet and have been asked to get a price on shipping.

Whilst asking for a quote I was reminded that Norway isn't in the EU, how would you go about sending used items there ? do they ( or I ) have to pay any sort of taxes for the postage ?

    Thanks in advance !

Thanks mate, I need to post a gearbox, prop and some other parts so its going to be a small pallets worth.

The local firm I tried mentioned about taxes but he said he would look into it for me and let me know once I have a address for him.

Johnny: i have sent a pallet (the engine) to the Nord countries in the past.

Yes the norway guy should pay a custom and vat tax , if the value exceed a proper amount. The best way would be sent a gearbox from a company name and value it around 100EUR , put a fake invoice inside , in the invoice please write that invoice should be payed AFTER delivery as sometimes customs require a payment slip if payment in advance was used . Dunno if it's possible in UK.

In Germany , Poland , Baltic countries the chiepest courier with tracking would be a DPD. It costed me around 150EUR for a pallet to be delivered to Finland or Sweden(don't remember) weighting around 130kg.( remember a wooden pallet weight too)
