Indeed, you should try the roads around my way. Only an hour or so from Bristol, Top gear used to film a lot in my area.

Portbury Hill, Failand Hill, road from Easter Compton to Tockington, Old Sodbury to Castle Combe, A420 from the ring road to Combe is great but a little obvious, Cheddar Gorge and many more, shame about the bits inbetween...
