    AAN capacity

Hi, is it possible to run my 20vt engine with kkk k31 turbocharger (with #16 hotside), with chipped ecu? The chip is from MTM and can handle 265kw. Other specs are: Ported head, 7a cams, 2323cc stroker engine, custom exhaust header, wagner analogical intake manifold, 7a fpr, big FMIC, 2.5" intake piping, siemens deka 60lb/min injectors, 3.5" downpipe-to 3" to the end.

Sorry about my english, it`s really bad.

I think the ecu will struggle with the injectors for a start. Have you run the engine on motronic yet?

No, not yet. it`s missing only the custom exhaust manifold from the spec list. Everything else has done. I bought this turbo cause it came very cheap for me. And now i´m thinking what to do, sell this turbo and buy smaller or use this one.

Your going to need a custom tune for your engine any how, I guess the k31 is bigger than a k29?

K31 with #13 hotside? T-rex man, be evil when it comes on boost but doubt you'll see any boost before 5k

The turbo is that big http://www.lauri3.planet.ee/347.html
last owner used it on AAN too, he said that it starts boosting @3000rpm and @4700 he had 2.3bar of boost. Also he used Vems ems.

Looks like a nice turbo, biggest new age KKK i've seen.

Seems like he has moved over to a bigger turbo, looks like a HX55 but isn't

I'd be carefull with the current mapping because he fried some pistons...

                And more bad luck...

That turbo is cheap far a reason IMO, the car would be an un satisfying car to drive due to the nature of the HUGE lag it will give.

                  BUT

If you are looking to post some high BHP and tourque on the rolers and do some work on some dragstrips then the turbo would be ok.

Just bare in mind that the turbo was more than probably designed for high bhp, but also even higher tourque on a large capacity diesel lorry engine.

Dont want to bash your dreams but if cash is tight and you looking for a deal, hang on and go for the right one!
Probably the longet S2 project in history EVER!
