looks a nice build. notice none of the scandanavian members chipping in. thats commonplace over there. and the states. its the uk thats conservative.

take it from me its hard to map mine on the road and a subaru on a t04r i did and they didn't make that power.

dont think a tin bath is the right car to have it in though.

id bet on diff maybe a 9" ford and temac. the t5 box was used in the states loads for v8.

The old engine made something around 750hp on a GT4088 but now the dynoed the new lump on a 42R and now thats something bigger again !

Rear diff was a Jag 10.5 unit, I'm not sure if they are still using it though.

Sounds like Rod although the car has always worn a set of 17" Rondells and runs on pump fuel on the road and 109 for events.

I am sure he did take it to a PH meet at some point though and I can imagine in a straight line (unless a Veyron showed up) it would of made mince meat of just about anything there lol

Got to love Rod Tarrys car! Its going to be great to see what he can do this year before he reaches 65 and retires

Full boost at 5000rpm seems to be a good usable power band to me if it will rev to 8k and beyond. It will be good to see what Jeffry's engine does with the GT42R!

Rod´s car is amasing, but it features all the problems that the cossie´s are fighting with, but they have done an amazing job with it!
My engine is actually not far from his, altho mine is std cc and on std cranck.

His car is only build for one purpose, fastest topspeed contest, and to be honest, it´s an animal as long it holds together
