My S2 was laid up for 6 years and took very little effort to get it back on the road.... BUT it was garaged for 5 years...

Only did the timing belt, intercooler, aux rad, couple of brake hoses & Fluids...

But this car has had 6 years out side in near costal waters... I can't see it being that easy a job to get it back on the road.... and at £1900.00 currently plus at least a £1000.00 on parts and labour I would be looking at a running version for about £3k... IMO...

There is mention in the for sale section http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42796 that the seller seems to think the car has been bid up and then the bids will be retracted and then snapped up at a bargain price...

So does seem that there is some underhand dealings going on...

I don't want this to be a hello post, but hi I've rebuilt a fair few cars and am (hopefully) looking forward to put this one back on the road also.
