What site? No pics sorry. the bloke who has theese cars i a bit "special" if you buy a car of him it´s cash only as he doesent want money in his account, my mate has been there loads of times and most times there has been gypsys there dealing with gold, booze and all sorts the stories i have heard about him are unbelivable, but i really do belive my friend. He had a path int his kitchen sided with engine blocks, in the droors were you normaly keep knifes and forks this guy keeps conrods, gaskets, valves and money (!) he had a very long table in his living room FULL with different turbos and on his sofa he had the boot from an escort cossie with the whaletail and all! he had a closet full with ready chipped ECU´s and that was his anti-theft thing. and if you bought a car of him he can ask, 300-330 or 380bhp? you answer whitch you want and he gets an ECU from his closet and plugs it in=) it sounds soooo bizzare and i am going to visit him with my mate this summer when he is going to map his escort. Oh yeah, the other saftey thing is a biker called benny that lives in his workshop or something!

I have now been there with my mate, it looks exactly the same now, just more sierras (saphires) I am not exadurating when i say there was at least 25 saphires, 3 or 4 2 door (flügel) cosworths and 3 escort cosworths, then we went down to his workshop and there was at least 2000 turbochargers spread around the place, a full pallet with whipple (lysholm) superchargers an engine from a e46 M3 and 4 cossie engines. there was also 2 more escorts and 4 more sapphires there. to say this guy is special is not a lie. i did not take any pics as i didn´t want to offend him in anyway=) He was willing to sell some cars but he was very pricey.

Sorry, by "special", what you really mean is the fellow is definitely got mental problems and is a serious horder. Some people horde cats, some garbage, this guy hordes Cossies and Sierras and their related bits. Guaranteed he was never married or if he was, it wasn't for long. He doesn't really want to sell anything (hence the high prices) because these things are mentally part of his personal existence and feeling of well-being.

Lets not forget the success the 3 door saw in the BTCC, no different to the Audis of a similar era.

I'll admit though they do look like they belong there as I bet their not the finest examples of a Cosworth

Well they have all seen beter days, he does want to sell them but a few of them he was VERY expensive on as they were special in some way. He was quite nice as a person actually. The mallard green escort is a "monte carlo" with nr 198 out of 200 made and was not really for sale. then there was loads of them not functioning properly or were bought in just for parts. He had somewhat of a "Godlike" attiude, as if he were the only person on earth that new his stuff about cossies (he is actually really really good though) that is the "special" part, otherwise he was quite humble and kind. Most of the cars only really needed a proper clean and detailing and would look quite OK again. I would quite like an escort cossie to be honest.... "i´ll get me coat then "
