Beloved S2 just developed a misfire have no spark at no 5 coilpack can't phone audi till the morning does anyone have an idea or know where to get them apart from the stealers?
cheers
Found some really sh*tty workmanship just now the wires to the pack has been cut and soldered together the more i looked the more sh*tty wormanship in the wiring iam finding !! this is not good
unfortunately this is the way most people replace the coil pack as they just come with a flying lead, no connector because there are two or three coils to each connector. you can buy new pins for the plug from audi I believe but soldering is just as easy!

Here is a link to AAN/ABY coil info with internal hyperlinks to a missing and hesitation diagnostic that will help confirm that it is a coil and not the second POS, and if it is the POS, how to swap the pins so you can use the spare channel on that POS:

Had this and it was the ignition amp.Its possible to shift pins and connectors around to fix it untill you can get a new amp module so check that first. I have to admit I have channel 3 out on one of mine so its been rewired untill I can afford a new one
