Got into the usual 'So you're a petrol-head are you? What car do you drive?' conversation yesterday, whilst watching the rugby, and my obvious reply, an Audi S2 got, for the first time in a long time of awe and an actual 
/ worship response! Turns out that the chap I was talking to had seen one new when he was a kid and had always wanted to have a ride in one... so I took him out in my nice, standard example 
He was rather impressed 
All the more helped by a little run along my favourite local road, in the dry and sunshine. A launch increased the expletive rate and then the level of clutch cmall in the cabin
Then, on a short, emergency cake run to the local supermarked this afternoon, I saw a gleaming tornado red C plate quattro in the car park and then on the way home I saw an R8, again in bright red, coming the other way! 
Overall, quite a cool, Audi inspired weekend, so nice to meet someone who loves the S2 (and indeed knows what it is!)
Went for a short run in a SC MX5 and it was quite an experience, made me want to fit a Mini SC to the IS now :mischeif:
