Forum Spring Clean?

Tidying the place up! Improvements.
Seems me to that the Forum has gone downhill of late with some prominent members voting with their feet and others who were regular contributors barely on here at all.
Now it might be that recent financial conditions have put peoples "hobby" on hold whilst things improve. Or I might be mistaken and others might think differently.
Not being known for my optimism, I was wondering therefore what might be done (if anything) to stop the rot.

who has walked? To be honest a forum ebbs and flows. Plenty of us work stupid hours and it definately affects how much time can be spent on here, not least in terms of maintaining the place and the threads but we're a bunch of pretty dedicated people and we do our best in our own time.

I think finances definately dictate the project threads and other stuff. Having said that even when people go to the effort of organising things, half the crowd cant even be bothered to make the effort to attend so its a push/pull thing.

We are all ears for any suggestions though so feel free to list and we'll debate it out for sure.

Have to say feels pretty heathly to me - and by that i mean the theads, the people and the general ambience of the place since i have been back here more full time than anytime over the last 6 months...

One minor thing that bugs me is that in the for sale section on the home page you can't choose page 2 or 3 etc so you have to click into the thread and then select the most recent page.

It has seemed a bit quiet on here but just logging on can prove expensive as you never know what might be for sale! So it could just be people trying not to spend money!

A south east meet sometime this spring could be good, it's a shame there aren't any Whiskey factories down this way!

I don't get on here much now due to work and family commitments.

I don't really understand the "Spring clean" bit and agree with David that the Forum has settled down again and seems to be quite healthy and active....

You can click the "For Sale" title at the top of the for sale items on the homepage to link straight through to the for sale forum.
