Years of manufacture

Does anyone know from when, to when, Audi were selling the Coupe with the ABY engine? Need as an exact dates as poss.

In 1993 things got altered for the S2. The cars were now adopting the "new" Audi 80 look, having integrated grilles into the bonnet, and from this very same year and to the end of production in 1996, it was offered with the same engine as found in urS4/S6 - the "ABY" with 230hp, 380Nm, coils and a sixspeed gearbox.

think it was from late 1992 that the ABY's started to roll off the production line. I say that because mine was one of the later 3b's registered 4th Aug 1992....
