    aan into urq parts list?

hi folks. I will be starting a 20vt aan conversion onto my 1984 urquattro during the summer. I will be picking up the aan along with the loom, inlet manifold, exhaust manifold and the turbo in about two weeks or so.
    few questions-
should i get anything else from the s4 for my conversion?
I want to run the car with its standard urq 5 speed box.
i would like about 350-400bhp, so which clutch for a fast road car?
which mounts for engine and box do i use?
ive heard about using two smaller intercoolers and having the flywheel lightened to help reduce lag.
i also would like to use an orange digidash as apparently its a hell of a lot easier than the green one to hook up. do i need to buy an aby loom to make this easier? Any tips on this conversion are greatly appreciated

My personal advise would be sell the AAN engine on and buy and ABY or 3B otherwise.

You will need from an ABY/3b/ADU
    inlet manifold
    water rail
    alternator bracket
    alternator
    power steering bracket
    IC ducting
water pipe and vac pipe for the turbo in front of the head behind the cambelt
    modified dipstick
    complete PCV system
You would also be better off with ABY or RS2 engine loom and gearbox loom as it's then plug and play, also a LHD llom would be a better fit still as there is less wire to coil up under the dash.

You can use your UR engine mounts the UR clutch and a UR flywheel with your std gearbox.

The green digi dash is easy to wire up and only takes about 7 connections.
You have to strip the wiper harness out of the UR engine loom and feed that back in along with the header tank wiring and the windscreen washer bottle wiring.
You can also retain the UR intercooler in it's current location.

      ah sh*te.
i though it was a lot handier than that to fit any of the 20v turbos in.
bit depressed now as its already paid for
I assume the intake manifold would only need swaping because of the space problem with the rad.
i would have to make up my own ducting for the intercoolers.
and an alternator cant be to expensive.
I'll have to stick with the aan now anyway as there are damn all 20vt engines for sale in ireland ever.
also, the engine is coming out of a LHD car.

Ok best of luck, Do a search for AAN into typ85 cars. It has been done a couple of times but in a UR with the brake master cyl, Brake bomb, afterun pump, and throttle body all on the same side there is sweet fa room to fit a rad let alone an electric fan unless you find some super dooper custom jobs for it to go.

The other option is run the rad in the boot, but comes with it's own set of nightmares.

I would deffinatly advise swapping the front end ancills.
Use your UR power steering bracket so that you don't have to make any changes to the steering system and brakes. Use a 3b or 7A alternator and bracket. as the AAN a has a viscous coupling and will foul the front panel.
